The wait is OVER, finally it’s here, all we need to do is to register either at LA County Public Health or OC Public Health. Please be patient, right now they are finishing the healthcare workers and already starting with 65 years and older. Getting a COVID-19 vaccine is an important step to prevent from getting sick from COVID-19. We care about your health. Getting vaccinated now will help you and your loved ones from getting sick.

We understand you may have questions about the vaccine. After getting vaccinated, you may have some side effects, which are normal signs that your body is building protection. The most common side effects are pain at the injection site, fever, and chills. These side effects tend to be mild to moderate and go away on their own within 1–4 days.

While the arrival of vaccines is good news in the fight to defeat COVID-19, it does not signal an immediate end to our nation’s suffering. Just as we have been pushing for adoption of the precautions we all know work – masking, hand hygiene and physical distancing. This will require trust in the COVID-19 vaccination process, from the development, distribution and administration of a safe and effective vaccine as well as a willing public to get vaccinated. Let’s all look for the BRIGHTER side of this vaccine.
